ProteoGenix is focused on discovering, developing and commercializing new diagnostic products and laboratory services for five of the most significant pregnancy-related complications including intraamniotic infection, neonatal sepsis, preterm birth, preeclampsia and Down Syndrome.

ProteoGenix plans to maintain a consistent path forward in the product development process, ensuring quality and optimizing the sensitivity, specificity, overall performance and clinical utility of our products.

The first two of these diagnostic products to advance to the development phase are:

• A test for intraamniotic infection (IAI), a major contributor to preterm birth (PTB), and one of the most costly issues involved with pregnancy management.

• A test for early onset neonatal sepsis—a serious infection that is a significant cause of infant mortality—and can be difficult to diagnose and treat.
