ProteoGenix names Mike Allen, MBA, Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations

COSTA MESA, CA, March 19, 2008---ProteoGenix announced today that it has named Mike Allen as Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations.

Mr. Allen has 23 years experience in both the diagnostic and therapeutic reproductive health markets, including 10 years in general management and senior sales and marketing positions. Mr. Allen began his career with Ortho Pharmaceutical where he held positions of increasing responsibility in sales, sales training and sales management. Mr. Allen also served in a number of senior commercial roles at Serono Inc., a global leader in reproductive endocrinology, including positions as General Manager, Serono Canada, and Executive Vice President, North American Reproductive Endocrinology Business Unit. During his tenure at Serono, Mr. Allen lead a number of successful flagship product launches and had direct responsibility for all aspects of a commercial operation generating more than $250M in annual revenue. Mr. Allen has also held senior management positions at Prometheus Labs, a provider of esoteric diagnostic testing services, and Vice President, Marketing at Tercica where he played a leading role in creating the commercial infrastructure and launching the company’s first two products. Mr. Allen has broad experience in all commercial disciplines and a track record of building and leading peak performing commercial organizations.
