New ProteoGenix Clients
Given the acute nature of intraamniotic infection (IAI) and the need for
rapid availability of diagnostic testing results, please contact
ProteoGenix Client Services prior to sending your first specimen for
testing.
This initial contact will allow ProteoGenix Clinical Laboratory to
establish you in our systems as a new client, including understanding
how you would like to arrange for pickup and shipment of specimens from
your facility and how you would like to receive your test results.
ProteoGenix works individually with each client based on your
preferences to facilitate expedited specimen pickup, shipping and test
resulting. You can download a copy of the one-page “Client Information
Sheet” by selecting the button below.

"Terms and Conditions" that describes test pricing and general terms and
conditions under which ProteoGenix Clinical Laboratory provides
diagnostic testing services.
If you are a healthcare professional and have been established as a client by completing the ProteoGenix "Client Information Sheet", you can order tests from the ProteoGenix Clinical Laboratory by following the instructions below:
Complete the ProteoGenix Clinical Laboratory Test Requisition form.
When your specimens are ready for pickup, call ProteoGenix at 888-429-7935 and fax the completed ProteoGenix “Clinical Laboratory Test Requisition” form to (714) 429-7853.
Specimens will be picked up at your facility
and shipped to the ProteoGenix Clinical Laboratory via expedited
delivery utilizing commercial delivery services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
based on your preference.
For healthcare professionals within the following Southern
California geographic area: Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San
Diego counties, a ProteoGenix contracted courier will typically pick
up specimens shortly after you have phoned ProteoGenix Client
Services to request pickup, based on your location and preferences.
For healthcare professionals and hospitals located outside of the
Southern California counties described above, specimens will be
picked up and transported to the ProteoGenix Clinical Laboratory via
commercial delivery services based on your preference.
Specimens received at the ProteoGenix
Clinical Laboratory in Costa Mesa, California by 12:00 PM (Pacific
Time) Monday through Friday, will have results available by 5:00 PM
(Pacific Time) that same day.
Specimens received after 12:00 PM (Pacific Time), will have results
available by 12:00 PM the following day. Specimens received after
12:00 PM on Friday will have results provided by 12:00 PM the
following Monday.
Beginning in January 2010, ProteoGenix plans to expand operations to
provide broader availability and even more rapid turnaround time.
For more detailed information, please refer to the "Test Information
Summary" for each test that appears under the "Test Menu". Results for
the Amniotic Fluid 16S rDNA by Endpoint PCR, Amniotic Fluid Glucose, and
Amniotic Fluid Gram Stain Tests will be available same day or next day
as described above based on time of specimen receipt.
Results for Amniotic Fluid Aerobic and Anaerobic Bacterial culture and
Amniotic Fluid Mycoplasma/Ureaplasmasp culture tests will be available
within 72 hours from receipt of specimen.
