Donald Mooney

Don Mooney joined ProteoGenix as President and Chief Executive Officer in February 2007. Prior to joining ProteoGenix, Mr. Mooney served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Focus Diagnostics, Inc., an infectious disease company with both laboratory services and global diagnostic products. While at Focus Diagnostics, he helped engineer their acquisition by Quest Diagnostics. He has also held executive positions with B&L Surgical Group, Ortho Clinical Diagnostics and Ciba Corning/Chiron Diagnostics.

Mr. Mooney has been responsible for the successful launch of many medical device platforms and brings experience in strategic planning and marketing from both medical device and diagnostic companies. To ProteoGenix, he brings his exceptional track record in full line functional responsibility, strategic innovation, integrating organizations, identifying and negotiating business alliances, and changing organizational culture to leverage market dynamics. Mr. Mooney also serves on the board of directors of NOVX Systems.
